Aridscape Utah seeks a highly skilled, creative landscape designer to work with the company's discerning clients in the Salt Lake City and Park City areas. Aridscape Utah is an upscale Design-Build-Maintain Firm.

The successful candidate will meet with clients and perform an 'interview' to gain an understanding of their desires, needs and budget. Preparation of detailed landscape plans and proposals will be performed on company computers. The designer will professionally present plans and proposals to clients and explain all details until the client is satisfied with the design with the intent of receiving approval.

Compensation Package;

Hourly or Salary available-$24.00-$30.00/hour or salary equivalent

Required General Skills;

· Creativity in residential design

· Comfortable meeting and working with a variety of clients

· Ability to carry a conversation and control meetings

· Lead clients through an interview process to determine their needs and financial budget

· Ability to create designs in a deadline-oriented environment

· Able to design lighting and irrigation systems per Company guidelines

· Extensive hardscape creativity while understanding the costs associated with the installation

of hardscape products

· Knowledge of local plant materials (Zone 2-6 mandatory) and other landscape materials

· Source materials from Company selected vendors

Technical Skills;

· AutoDesk CAD LT level 3 or higher

· Able to create blocks for new plants and other elements

· SketchUp or similar rendering software

· Microsoft Office applications experience necessary

· Preparing detailed proposals-Excel

· Digital rendering and quick hand sketching

· Irrigation layout and specifying of materials

· Lighting layout and specifying of materials

Needed for consideration of employment;

· General knowledge of Salt Lake City and Park City Areas

· Clean Utah Drivers License

· Professional appearance
