We are looking for a forward thinking individual to design, implement and sustain recruiting strategies supporting our goal of building a national brand! 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for full cycle recruitment via active recruiting, strategic planning and associated initiatives to continuously build the company’s pipeline through external sourcing and internal development. Partner with hiring managers to identify and drive best practices.  Create and lead programs in career development that track new hire progress, high potential development, internal promotions, and retention through employee engagement (as defined by GALLUP). 

 

The candidate will attract top talent, minimize lead time for open positions, support career development, participate in engagement initiatives and drive retention.

 

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Source active and passive candidates using databases, social media/networking sites & web searches; all efforts supported by company’s ATS
  • Write, create and maintain job descriptions for all positions within the organization
  • Recruit for a wide range of roles, with an emphasis on sales, operations and management positions
  • Maintain excellent documentation, including developing, tracking and reporting on talent acquisition metrics to management
  • Coordinate and attend career fairs, trade shows and conventions
  • As brand ambassador, network, maintain and expand  relationships within the industry and universities/colleges increasing the company’s visibility and strengthening branding
  • Oversee internal training program for new hires and interns; partner closely with management to provide guidance in the development and execution of Individual Development Plans for high potential employees

 

Qualifications:

  • Dynamic, driven and fearless individual with 5 + years of experience in recruitment with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, executing initiatives and process improvement
  • Knowledge of ATS (Newton), HRIS (ADP preferred)
  • Comfortable in a high volume, performance driven environment
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Arboriculture industry a plus
