Position Overview

KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Develop test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for a variety of systems
  • Create and execute test cases, document defects and coordinate resolution with the development team
  • Document and track test execution status against targeted release plan
  • Work with Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to review test results and troubleshoot issues
  • Meet with Project Managers, Business Owners, and other Stakeholders to understand acceptance criteria and document test cases
  • Document production defects and identify and add new test cases to Zephyr test suite to prevent future production defects
  • Design and implement test automation scripts using UFT test tool

Skills We Are Seeking

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: MANDATORY

  • Experience with requirements analysis, test case development and test execution for large enterprise projects
  • Experience with APIs and API testing tools – Postman, SOAP UI
  • Fundamental knowledge of SQL with the ability to generate and run basic SQL queries for quality testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set priorities and function in a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
  • Motivated to Learn – follow blogs, watch training videos, follow QA trends, etc.
  • Can work independently or with larger teams

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: DESIREABLE

  • Jira, Confluence, Zephyr experience preferred
  • Experience in designing and building test automation scripts (UFT, Selenium)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience testing Supply Chain, Point of Sale, Production Information Management, or Salesforce systems is a plus

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 4+ years in Software Quality Assurance field
