We are looking for a driven, experienced, and team orientated Lawn Care Manager to lead the daily operations and success of our SavaLawn program. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will coordinate and monitor all aspects of the program to achieve branch goals while maintaining company standards.  



  • Assist with hiring, employee evaluation process and progressive discipline
  • Monitor, train and ensure Lawn Care Specialists (LCS) operate efficiently and productively on a daily basis
  • Ensure new hires are properly trained through training programs, accompany trainees during “ride-alongs”
  • Twice daily communications with each LCS, once in the morning and once in the afternoon to ensure daily goals are being met
  • Maintain proper inventories of materials and supplies needed for daily operation of SavaLawn; order as necessary
  • Monitor individual and branch productivity to ensure goals are being met on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis
  • Participate in sales activities as required including winter season sales, customer renewals and supporting arborists in closing sales and developing program recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies
  • Assist Ops Manager with scheduling of LC services
  • Oversee winter maintenance of SavaLawn equipment and vehicles
  • Review LCS hours
  • Hold weekly LC meeting to monitor and review production, goals, safety, quality, customer service and to provide technical training and answer questions
  • Check in LC crews at the end of the day
  • Oversee the implementation of the Self Directed Advancement Program for LC specialists
  • Field production including completion of lawn care routes and taking over “no show” routes when applicable
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications for this Role:

  • Obtain and possess current pesticide certifications that are required by governing state’s laws
  • Possess a driver’s license to operate motor vehicle in governing state
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in turf application and maintenance
  • Completion of L4
  • Complete continuing education courses as assigned
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and equipment in a safe and alert manner
