SavATree is looking for a Help Desk , Systems Administration Support Professional to join our IT Team. This position is a great opportunity to break into a fast-paced environments with hands on experience in computer networking, systems administration, infrastructure security and end user support. This position will focus primarily on assisting the Systems Administrator with day to day tasks of PC maintenance, network troubleshooting and remote user support for users in both a Windows 2008 R2 terminal server and Windows 7, 8 & 10 environment. Training will be provided on all aspects of back office systems.

 

Advance your IT knowledge in a state-of-the-art Microsoft environment featuring a wide variety of servers and systems including:

  • Windows 2008 R2
  • Windows 2012 R2
  • Exchange 2010
  • SQL Server 2014
  • Backup Exec 15
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Remote Desktop Services
  • NAS and SAN storage systems
  • Branch Office VPNs

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Desktop and help desk support for 250+ users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, hardware and peripherals and LAN / WAN connectivity
  • Mobile Device Management, provide support for users and manage vendor relations for our mobile communication
  • Assist in maintenance and deployment of back-office systems
  • Manage and maintain telephony systems and vendor relations
  • Handle incoming help desk support requests
  • Must create a high level of user satisfaction through accurate, timely follow up, strong technical skills, and relationship building
  • Experience preferred however we will train the right individual

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelors of Science or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and in-person
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, 8 & 10
  • Microsoft Office 2010 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of mobile devices
  • Strong work ethic, able to work extended/weekend hours when needed, and carry an Android device 24×7 (we supply)
  • Ability to travel to branch locations as needed
