The focus of this position is to focus on, be responsible for, and drive all Individual Sales objectives, goals, and activities for Landscape Installation Projects, Landscape Maintenance Packages, Lawn Care Packages & Irrigation Service Packages and Installations as established in Annual Goal Setting Meeting with Sales & Marketing Department Manager.
Results Area #1: Selling Landscape Installation Projects
- Meet with new and existing clients for Initial Consultations to discuss their landscape installation goals and needs.
- Gather all the necessary information from the customer and jobsite so that the Estimator can prepare an estimate and proposal.
- Initiate any necessary design services for install projects with Remote Design Solutions.
- Present final landscape design and proposal to clients along with maintenance service pricing.
- Once a project is sold, project management will be the responsibility of the Sales Person unless other arrangements with Operations have been agreed upon.
- Pre-production meeting with sales person, Landscape Installation Department Manager, and necessary office staff at least 5 production days before scheduled date.
- Post-job summary review & report presented to Sales & Marketing Department Manager (budget vs. actual hours and materials).
- Sell small projects on-site to eliminate a second visit and increased inefficiencies.
- Communicate with Sales & Marketing Department Manager, Landscape Installation or Maintenance Department Manager & Estimator to stay informed of job progress.
- Being accountable, committed, following the sales process.
Results Area #2: Sales & Account Management for Landscape Maintenance, Lawn Care & Irrigation Service
- Assist in the renewal of existing service clients
- Assist in the goal development and implementation to replace any lost revenue/clients to return to previous season levels
- Sell to new and existing clients to achieve desired revenue goals based on Annual Goals.
