Landscape maintenance crew leader
Job description
Landscape crew leaders will be responsible for general lawn and landscape needs for customers. This includes but not limited to: mowing, trimming, mulching, landscape and hardscape installs, weed control, general clean-up, light tree work, etc. Crew leaders will have to be versatile in jobs duties and be willing to execute any job task that is given to them. Crew leaders will not have just one specific job duty, but will be held responsible of a multitude of jobs. They will have the responsibility to lead, guide and direct crew members in job task. Crew leaders will be the overseer of jobs and ensuring job are being completed properly and efficiently. Minimum earning potential is $40,000 a year. Crew leaders have the opportunity to earn up to $50,000 a year.
Expectations and requirements
Crew leaders must have a valid TN or VA driver’s license and be 21 years or older. Motor vehicle record must be clean (no traffic violations or suspension). Must be willing and pass C03-pesticide certification within first 3 month of employment. Must have positive attitude and drive to have continual education of the green industry. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Experience in landscaping is preferred, but not necessary. Must be willing and succeeding in leading crew member in the right direction with job task.

Schedule
Mondays-Fridays
Roughly 50-60 hours work weeks during the busy seasons. Start time is 7am
Roughly 40-45 hours during the winter season. Start time is 8am
Saturday work is mostly voluntary unless weather hinders work throughout the week
