Job description
Lawn and Landscape technicians will be responsible for fertilization, weed control, fungus, insect and disease control of commercial and residential properties. Duties can include work outside of technician type duties. These can include other landscape maintenance work, for example: planting, mulching, general clean-up, trimming, mowing, etc. Main focus through the year will be spray technician type work and during the winter season the focus will be general maintenance to customer properties. Minimum earning potential is $45,000 and year and can be up to or even more than $55,000.
Expectations and requirements
Lawn and Landscape technician will have to have a valid TN or VA driver’s license and be 21 years or older. Motor vehicle record must be clean (no traffic violations or suspension). Must be willing and pass C03-pesticide certification within first month of employment. Must have positive attitude and drive to have continual education of the green industry. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Experience in spray application is preferred, but not necessary.

Schedule
Mondays-Fridays
Roughly 50-60 hours work weeks during the busy seasons. Start time is 7am
Roughly 40-45 hours during the winter season. Start time is 8am
Saturday work is mostly voluntary unless weather hinders work throughout the week
