Grassmaster Plus, Inc. has been providing Full-Service Lawn and Plant Health Care for clients in the North Shore and Metro North since 1980. We currently have a full-time position available for a Branch Manager, who will contribute as a Senior Leader of the Company. The person in the position will manage the budget, timelines, personnel and supplies to maximize efficiencies of all jobs at the highest quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow and enforce all established policies, procedures, and recognized practices
- Manage production execution through scheduling services, monitoring production processes, and adjusting schedules as needed. Ensure all sold and available work is completed for all services.
- Supervise technicians to ensure safety, quality, and productivity of work. Responsible for onboarding, training and certification/recertification processes, performance evaluations, time and attendance oversight, coaching, discipline, and professionalism.
- Monitor and review the performance of staff against annually set production goals and organize necessary interventions for improvement
- Estimate costs and monitor/follow budgets accordingly
- Make decisions about equipment use, modification and procurement
- Manage inventory through product ordering, vendor supplier negotiations for materials, and furnishing regular inventory reports to appropriate personnel
- Set and monitor quality standards
- Execute Dashboard to review performance of overall production health
- Meet and exceed all customer service requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years prior experience in the lawn/horticulture field
- Valid Driver’s License
- MA Pesticide License, or willingness to obtain
- Supervisory experience, including training, coaching, and evaluating performance
- Real Green Service Assistant software knowledge is preferred but not required
- Ability to manage technicians to meet or exceed company production goals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate company resources
- Excellent leadership skills
- Self-starter and demonstrates initiative
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Ability to delegate and follow-up
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Must be proficient in MS 365 and comfortable utilizing general office equipment, tablets, and industry-specific software
